User Guide
How the pieces fit together — gatherings, availability, meetups, decks, matches, and who can do what. Come back here anytime you forget how something works.
Gatherings
A gathering is your playgroup — the home for everything your group does together.
A gathering holds your members, their availability, your scheduled meetups, your saved play locations, and the leaderboard. Almost everything in the app lives inside one.
Anyone with an account can create a gathering from the Gatherings page — give it a name and an optional description, and you become its Owner.
- Invites are shareable links, not emails. An Owner or Admin generates an invite link and sends it to you however they like — text, Discord, wherever your group hangs out.
- Open the link, sign in or create an account, and accept to join. Most people join as a Member.
- An invite link can be set to expire or to allow only a limited number of joins, so a link may occasionally read as expired or used up — just ask for a fresh one.
Availability
Mark the days you're free so your group can find a date that works for everyone.
Open a gathering's schedule and tap the days you're available over the next 30 days. You can page ahead to mark future months too, and optionally add a start and end time on a day if you're only free for part of it.
Availability is a simple yes — a day is either marked free or it isn't. Change your mind anytime by unmarking a day; nothing is committed until a meetup is scheduled.
You're never required to submit availability, but if you don't, you won't show up when your group looks for a date that works. It's the single most useful thing you can do.
Meetups
A meetup is a game night locked onto a specific date, time, and place.
The app ranks candidate dates by how many people marked themselves free. Any day with at least two people available is playable — the more heads, the higher it ranks.
An Owner or Admin turns a date into a meetup by picking the date, a start time, and one of the gathering's saved locations. There's one meetup per date. When it's scheduled, everyone who marked that day free gets an email with the details.
- If five or more people were available, you'll be asked to RSVP In or Out so the host has a headcount. In smaller groups it's assumed you're coming.
- Plans change: a meetup can be cancelled, which reopens the date without wiping anyone's availability. Once it's played, it's marked complete and match results can be recorded against it.
Decks
Register the Commander decks you bring, so wins get tracked to the right deck.
Your decks belong to you and follow you across every gathering. Add a deck once, then pick it when you sit down at a meetup.
- By hand — give it a name, and optionally its commander and a power bracket.
- From a link — paste a Moxfield or Archidekt deck URL and the app pulls in your commander, color identity, and full card list.
- By paste — drop in a raw decklist as text and the app parses it.
The bracket is the official Commander scale from 1 to 5: 1 Exhibition (fully casual), 2 Core (precon-level), 3 Upgraded, 4 Optimized, 5 cEDH. Sharing it helps your group pod up decks of similar power.
Decks imported from Moxfield or Archidekt can be refreshed to re-pull the latest list. A deck that already has recorded match results can't be deleted — that history keeps the leaderboard honest.
Matches & Results
Record who won so the leaderboard can keep score.
After a game, any member records the result from the meetup card on the Meetups page: tap “Record a result”, pick who played and which deck each piloted, tap the winner, confirm. Games number themselves, and the first result marks the night complete.
Only players in the gathering, and only decks owned by someone in the gathering, can appear on a result — borrowing a friend's deck is fine. That keeps the standings clean and scoped to your group.
The leaderboard tallies wins two ways — by player and by deck — across every match your gathering has recorded. Recorded a game wrong? The gathering's Owner can remove it from the meetup card and record it again.
Roles & Permissions
Who can do what inside a gathering.
The organizer-only powers are managing invite links, managing play locations, and creating or editing meetups. An Owner can also grant any of those to a specific Member individually, without making them a full Admin.
FAQ & Troubleshooting
Quick answers to the things people ask most.
I didn't get an invite email.
There are no invite emails — invites are shareable links. Ask whoever runs your group to send you their gathering's invite link, then open it and accept.
My invite link says it's expired or used up.
Invite links can be set to expire or to allow only a limited number of joins. Ask for a fresh link and you'll be able to join.
What's the difference between marking availability and RSVPing?
Availability says which days you could play, before anything is scheduled. An RSVP is your In or Out for a specific meetup that's already locked onto a date. They're separate on purpose.
How do I leave a gathering?
There's no self-serve leave button yet. You can unmark all your availability and clear your RSVPs to drop out of scheduling; to be fully removed, ask your gathering's Owner.
Why can't I delete a deck?
A deck with recorded match results can't be deleted, because those results feed the leaderboard. You can still edit it or refresh its card list.
I can't sign in after signing up.
Confirm the verification link in your email first — it's good for 24 hours. If it expired, request a new one from the sign-in screen. Forgot your password? A reset link is valid for one hour.
